  • HPC acquires additional Atlantic City Boardwalk wood

    With the last remnants of the north end of the Atlantic City Boardwalk that was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy piled at the old Bader Field airstrip awaiting removal to local landfills, the Atlantic City department of Revenue and Finance under the direction of Budget Officer Tom Monaghan held an auction of the remaining AC Boardwalk wood on Friday, March 1, 2013. The Historic Pen Company was able to increase its holdings by acquiring a large quantity of the Tropical Hardwood Boardwalk wood along with the lower grade pine undercarriage.   • HPC acquires piece of wood from Historic Gettysburg site

    HPC is creating no more then 4 high quality pens commemorating the battle of Gettysburg - July 1-3, 1863 in this the 150th Anniversary of the battle. In recognition of those men who risk their lives and gave life and limb in support of their beliefs, HPC has acquired a small section of blood stained floor planking from the Sheaffer Farmhouse, which was used as a Union Field Hospital during and after the Battle of Gettysburg.   • HPC secure a limited quantity of Warner Brothers Studio wood

    The Historic Pen Company has acquired a limited quantity of beautiful Douglas Fir from the 1936 Warner Brothers Prop and Studio Building. Founded in 1918, Warner Brothers is one of the world's largest producers of film and television entertainment. In 1904 the Brothers focused on film distribution but by World War I they were producing films and in 1918 opened the Warner Bros. Studio on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood.     The Historic Pen Company's Master Pen Maker, has just completed the first 5 pens produced from wood salvaged from Atlantic City's world famous boardwalk.
