    This was the first time we worked with Pecan. It is a custom made pen, using 22K Gold Plate hardware and is made from the Sam Houston Pecan Tree……The house Sam Houston loved best was the one at Huntsville in which he resided for nearly twenty years.In the south corner of the spacious yard only the stump remains of this native pecan which grew into a beautiful tree of immense proportions.     The Historic Pen Company's Master Pen Maker, has just completed the first 5 pens produced from wood salvaged from Atlantic City's world famous boardwalk. Although HPC was able to salvage several types of wood representing different era's of construction, maintenance, replacement and repair including pine, cedar, oak and other varities, this first group of pens were made from the tropical hardwood Ipe.   Whether finished with 24K gold plated or rhodium and titanium hardware, our Atlantic City Boardwalk Collection are beautiful yet functioning works of art.

    HPC is proud to release the the first series of product available in our online store and in the Museum Gift Shop at the Bayman's Museum and Tuckerton Seaport in Tuckerton, NJ. A limited edition line of magnets, bookmarks and ornaments made from wood taken from one of the seaport's dismantled sneakbox boats have been designed and created by HPC to help support the Bayman's Museum and Tuckerton Seaport.
