The Historic Pen Company has acquired several pieces of country music Witness Wood® in the form of several pieces of stage floor from the Grand Ole Opry.
These pieces of Witness Wood® are genuine sections of the stage floor of the Grand Ole Opry House. Between the years of 1974 and 1990, it lay beneath the steps of Presidents, royalty, astronauts, foreign dignitaries and, of course, the greatest stars in the world of Country Music.
If these pieces of maple could speak, they would proudly tell you of appearances by Presidents Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George Bush. It would talk of visits from Princess Grace of Monaco; Ambassadors to the United Nations, the Apollo-Soyez crew and rock star Bruce Springsteen.
This Witness Wood® would speak of the familiar steps of country music immortals: Roy Acuff, Hank Snow, Ernest Tubb, Marty Robbins, Minnie Pearl, Ricky Skaggs, Barbara Mandrell, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and countless others.
