Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk Cigar Pen

    Point Pleasant Beach - NJ

The Point Pleasant Beach pen collection consists a group of pens made from the composite boards (Trex) that was salvaged from the southern end of the Boardwalk that was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy as she made landfall in New Jersey on October 29, 2012, and decimated the Jersey Shore, Staten Island and beach towns on Long Island.

The Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk Cigar style rollerball is made with 24K gold plated hardware with a twist design and is handcrafted and expertly engraved Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk.

History Salvaged was not sure if our master pen maker would be able to work the composite material using traditional pen turning techniques, fortunately, although challenging, we were able to fashion these beautiful pens that feature not only the gray of the boards but is speckled with pinks, whites and other colors and truly beautiful and unique.

With the Point Pleasant Boardwalk turning 100 years old in 2015, the composite that had been recently installed represents the ever-changing times and Sandy and the destruction she did to the boardwalk, more changes in style, materials, and installation will again take place.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to own a piece of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and Jersey Shore history.

Like all History Salvaged products, each pen is hand made with respect for the rarity and history of the material we are repurposing into heirloom quality pens that although functional can be passed down through the generations.

As an owner of one of these exquisite pens, whether you are a collector or not, you are "keeping history alive" and by gifting them or passing them down to your heirs you and they should be proud to own these beautiful works of art and the"witness wood" that was used to create them.
